Through workshops, consultations, and a genuine spirit of collaboration, Heart for ENC provided me with the tools, confidence, and clarity needed to lead with purpose and sustainability. What stood out most was the personal investment they made not just in my organization, but in me as a leader.
I wholeheartedly recommend Heart for ENC to any nonprofit leader seeking meaningful support, expert insight, and a community that truly cares. Their impact is real, and I’m living proof of it.

Workshops & Classes
Building the Conditions for Collaboration.
Discover what truly makes collaboration work. In this interactive session, participants will explore the often‑overlooked “space between organizations” — the conditions that quietly shape whether partnerships thrive or stall. Through guided reflection and a hands‑on diagnostic exercise, you’ll examine a real collaboration from your own context and uncover which underlying factor most needs attention to move it forward.
Focusing on six key conditions for collaboration, this workshop will equip you to see your partnership with new clarity, identify what’s holding it back, and leave with focused next steps that strengthen your collaborative potential.
Join the Heart for ENC team as we present our next workshop:
Making Collaboration Work.
Move from diagnosing collaboration to actually making it work. In this practical, forward‑leaning session, participants will take the next step by shaping how a real partnership can function more effectively. You’ll explore how to choose the right form
of collaboration, bring the right people to the table, define meaningful shared outcomes, and navigate the interests, constraints, and conversations that inevitably arise.
This experience offers a guided framework that helps you clarify roles, strengthen accountability, and understand what progress really looks like. Participants will apply these insights to a live challenge, leaving with a clearer, more actionable path for moving their collaboration from intention to execution.

Networking: Coffee & Connection
Each Friday morning we gather local nonprofit leaders for a time to connect, share ideas and encourage one another. These informal gatherings are just that – an informal time to sit with friends, share life and enjoy a cup of coffee or some breakfast.
We have seen over and over how these simple connections can lead to new opportunities, resources, partnerships and more.
Anyone who cares about local nonprofits is welcome to join us. We’re sure you will be glad you came.
