SLII: Leading Staff and Volunteers

People are what makes nonprofits great, but people can also be what make nonprofits messy.  Some of our greatest opportunities begin with how we build, lead and develop our teams.

When leaders lead with purpose, they invite their staff and volunteers to be part of something greater than themselves, fostering a sense of belonging and community. This intentional approach opens the door to trust and open communication with our teams and empowers the growth and impact of our organizations.

Join us for the second part of our Staff Leadership series, SLII: Leading Staff and Volunteers, which kicks off on Wednesday, August 6.

SLII: Leading Staff and Volunteers is a faith-based workshop designed to empower Executive Directors and their teams to lead with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

Key Topics:

  • Attracting: Establishing clarity at the foundation
  • Hiring: Identifying and inviting the right people
  • Growing: Investing in individuals and teams
  • Releasing: Handling celebration and conflict in departure
  • Volunteers: Similarities and differences in nonprofit volunteer leadership

Tools to be discussed:

  • Hiring Process template (including your values)
  • Team Profile Organizer
  • Performance Review templates
  • Key Volunteer Policies
  • Many others!

Who should attend?

All staff and volunteer leaders of nonprofits.  This is a great workshop to attend with your team.
